We look forward to talking about several topics with ample input from our members. Come with questions, thoughts, ideas.
Here are some topics for our gathering; please suggest others.
1. Who are the potential voters we engage with? How do their situations and backgrounds differ? What are some effective ways to communicate with different groups? And what are the elements of voting they need help with the most?
2. Let's review our events and talk about future ones- which do you like best?
3. Recent state and federal actions affecting voting. For example, SCOTUS turned down the President's executive order aiming to compel voters to show passports in order to vote.
4 What is current redistricting and could it impact Minnesota?
5. The 2026 elections and voting security: what is the latest from OSS? And what concerns should we have about safe, accessible voting in Minnesota, and how can the LWVSP help educate voters?
