The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages the informed and active participation of citizens in government and influences public policy through education and advocacy. Below are our open, paid positions.


2023 Candidate Forum Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to get up close and personal with candidates who are running to serve on the St. Paul City Council and St. Paul School Board! The Coordinator servers as the main organizer for all candidate forums, ensures diverse partnerships, meaningful  forums for St. Paul residents, and helps craft the only nonpartisan voter guide in St. Paul. Successful applicants will have a desire to serve in a nonpartisan capacity, enjoy organizing events, and have a basic understanding of and ability to ensure volunteers and candidates adhere to forum rules. This position works carefully with the Voter Service Committee and has access to large volunteer pool. LWVSP is willing to train and work carefully with the selected Coordinator. This position is also open to students seeking college credits.
