The Evening LWV St. Paul book club meets on the first Monday of the month at 6:15 pm at the West 7th Community Center, 265 Oneida St. St. Paul. All are welcome to attend regardless of whether they have read the book that month. Please join us if you're interested!
May's book will be: Climate Justice: Hope, Resilience, and the Fight for a Sustainable Future by Mary Robinson. A St. Paul Public Library "Red Brave: Our Climate Crisis" nonfiction selection. "Robinson gives voice to farmers, activists, and ordinary people worldwide who are facing the effects of the climate crisis with courage and innovation. Her book acknowledges the hardship and uncertainty environmental degradation has had on traditional ways of life and celebrates the resilience of people who have worked for sustainable solutions."
