The League of Women Voters has a long history of being a strong advocate for affordable housing. On Tuesday, Nov. 19, our League is co-sponsoring a forum with other supportive groups to host a panel of housing experts who will discuss the current situation. It is free and open to the public.
Panelists will be: Rep. Alice Hausman, Chair of the Minnesota House of Representatives Housing Committee; Cathy ten Broeke, Executive Director of the Minnesota Interagency Council on Homelessness; and Maria Wetherall, Director of Ramsey County Veterans Services who chairs Heading Home Ramsey, a community-wide partnership that seeks to end homelessness for veterans in Ramsey County.
The program is organized by the Roseville Area League of Women Voters and co-sponsors are: League of Women Voters Saint Paul, Council of Metropolitan Area Leagues (CMAL), the Community Action Network (CAN).
