The LWV St. Paul book club meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 10:15 am at the Sun Ray Library, 2105 Wilson Ave. 55119. All are welcome to attend regardless of whether they have read the book that month. Please join us if you're interested!

March's book is Empire of the Summer Moon: Quanah Parker and the Rise and Fall of the Comanches, the Most Powerful Indian Tribe in American History by S.C. Gwynne. The first story traces the rise and fall of the Comanches, the most powerful Indian tribe in American history. The second entails one of the most remarkable narratives ever to come out of the Old West: the epic saga of the pioneer woman Cynthia Ann Parker and her mixed-blood son Quanah, who became the last and greatest chief of the Comanches. Cheryl P. will lead discussion.
