Several of St Paul’s public boards and commissions are looking for new members. Are you the new person they’ve been looking for?
The volunteer boards and commissions cover a spectrum of responsibilities, from the Advisory Committee on Aging to the Workforce Innovation Board, and many, many others. Each groups’ duties and requirements are listed on their website right along with a place where you can apply to be a member. Some are for people with specific backgrounds—for instance, an architect or an archaeologist might be specified, or a resident of a specific neighborhood, but most are not.
Boards and Commissions are under the supervision of the Mayor’s Office. Each group has its own page on the website, including information about vacancies. If you become a board or commission member, please let the League know, by contacting board member Diggitt McLaughlin, Observer Corps, at email@example.com.
