Then at 6:00 p.m. Benjamin Feist, Legislative Director for the ACLU, will give an informal presentation on felony disenfranchisement and how it relates to voter suppression. Afterward, you're invited to stay and discuss the topic and other ideas with fellow League members and friends.

Ben was born in Winona, Minnesota, but moved throughout the Midwest before returning to attend the University of Minnesota. He received a B.A. in Political Science in 2002 and a J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law in 2007. Prior to attending law school, Ben worked for two U.S. members of Congress at their Minnesota district offices. He has practiced law in both the public and private sectors, focusing on the areas of complex litigation, consumer protection, and immigration law. Ben has been involved with the ACLU-MN since 2005.
